Christina Milian
Christina Milian, qui débarque en France n'est pourtant pas une novice dans le milieu du show-business. Dès son plus jeune âge, elle rêve d'être une star et ne s'en laisse pas compter; elle décroche son premier rôle dans une comédie musicale alors qu'elle a à peine 10 ans. La jeune Christina, né dans le New Jersey de parents cubains, est ensuite journaliste junior dans une émission de Disney Channel. A 13 ans, sa mère décide que son avenir est à Hollywood et la famille déménage en Californie. Là-bas, elle y rencontre Rodney Jerkins qui la convainc d'abandonner le cinéma pour se lancer dans la chanson. Elle ne l'écoute pas totalement puisqu'elle continue de tourner dans de nombreuses séries comme Clueless, Sister Sister ou Charmed et prête même sa voix à l'un des personnages du film 1001 Pattes. Sa destinée change alors quand elle enregistre le hit Between Me And You avec Ja Rule. Elle se fait alors connaître du grand public. Cette fan des chorégraphies de Janet Jackson et de Madonna danse à merveille mais est aussi compositrice. Elle participe entre autres à l'écriture du tubesque Play de J-Lo. Le petit monde de la musique s'intéresse alors à elle et elle travaille alors avec les meilleurs producteurs comme Jermaine Dupri ou Artful Dodger. Son premier album éponyme, mélange de pop, de musique latino et de sons plus urbains, sort en 2002.
